Bevan Healthcare, the Social Enterprise which provides primary care services for people in Bradford who are homeless, seeking asylum or refugees has now moved to bigger newly refurbished premises at 14 Piccadilly Bradford BD1 3LS. The move will give them the base they need to improve and expand the services they provide. Click here to read an article about the move in the Bradford Telegraph and Argus. They have a new logo, but telephone numbers and all other contact details remain unchanged.

They are hoping to refurbish the basement of their new premises to create a vibrant Well Being Centre for their patients, to host a wide range of activities aimed at promoting good physical and mental health, building confidence, providing personal fulfilment, encouraging strong social networks – things that can be more effective than just a prescription. They have made a bid to the Aviva Community Fund for the refurbishment. They need as many votes from members of the community as possible to get to the final. Please spare a few moments to have a look at the bid, register on the site and vote. If you think it’s a good cause, share the link through Facebook, Twitter or any other means you can think of.
Note: voting closes at the end of May; only UK residents are eligible to vote.
