Commissioned by Doctors of the World, the research by Max Wind-Cowie and Claudia Wood, looks at how to ensure fair use of the NHS efficiently and effectively in the context of the Government’s plans to charge all migrant without ILR to access primary and A&E care. Amongst its recommendations it calls for all children to be exempted from charges and that all data sharing to be one way (i.e no information held by the NHS should be seen by the Home Office).
